Aran Downes is the owner of Kelea Sailing Charters, where Aran facilitates the ultimate luxury vacation experience on a 65ft Privilege Catamaran. Aran also collaborates with the University of Pennsylvania Coral Reef conservation project. Additionally, Aran serves as an Associate General Partner at AI8 Ventures, investing in high growth companies to solve real human problems. Aran is an investor in Chai Yo Modern Thai and an advisor at Nan Thai Fine Dining and Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft. Prior to venturing into the entrepreneurial world, Aran founded Spartan Resources and worked as a Senior Sales Account Executive at TechUSA in Alpharetta, GA. Aran also served as a Technical Recruiter at Capital-Gazette Communications in Annapolis, MD. Aran holds a B.S. in Biology from Washington College.
