Dionne Williams

Director of Patient Services at Alpha Laboratories

Dionne Williams is currently the Director of Patient Services at Alpha Laboratories. Dionne has over 20 years of experience in Healthcare, with a focus on client services and transition management.

Dionne began their career in Healthcare as a Client Services Manager at TORONTO CENTRAL LHIN (formerly CCAC). In this role, they led a team of Coordinators to provide innovative transition options to new and existing clients and stakeholders who had a hospital stay of more than 40 days. Outcome - Over 50% were reintegrated into the community within 12 months.

During their time at TORONTO CENTRAL LHIN, Dionne also established a leadership role in the development and implementation of the Behaviour Supports Ontario Strategy within the Toronto Central LHIN. Outcome - Program was fully implemented across the LHIN and remains in place today.

Dionne developed relationships with community organizations to form partnerships to broaden community transition options for clients with multiple complexities affecting their ability to transition from the hospital back into the community. Dionne also participated at the leadership level on LHIN strategies including Chronic Vents Project, Behavioural Supports Ontario Implementation Project, Behavioural Support Specialist Project, and Rehab and Complex Care Review.

Dionne Williams completed an Executive Leadership Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Dionne also holds a MN from the University of Toronto and a BScN from Ryerson University, both in the field of nursing.

Dionne Williams reports to Idelta Coelho, EVP. They work with Andrew Leung - Manager of Lab Operations, Robert Scheuermann - Director of Quality.
