Heather Pope

Heather Pope has extensive experience in administrative and financial roles within the energy sector, currently serving as a Lease Administrator at Alpha Metallurgical Resources since November 2020. Prior to this position, Heather held various roles, including Accounts Payable Clerk, Receptionist, and Administrative Assistant at Alpha Natural Resources from November 2011, and Assistant Lease Administrator at Contura Energy from May 2019 to November 2020. Heather’s career began at Massey Energy Company, where responsibilities included Administrative Assistant from 1999 to 2010. In terms of education, Heather is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at South College, with a projected graduation in August 2025, and has obtained multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA and a Master’s in Management & Leadership from Western Governors University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies from the same institution.
