Michael Petersen

Michael Petersen is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in semiconductor design and applications. Currently serving as a Principal Design Engineer at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor since August 2022, Michael has co-founded Iowa Scaled Engineering, LLC, focusing on engineering projects for enjoyment. Prior roles include Senior Applications Engineer and Staff Engineer at Analog Devices (January 2018 - August 2022), and Design Manager at Linear Technology (December 2011 - December 2017), leading a mixed-signal Power System Management team. From May 2001 to August 2011, Michael was the Director of IC Design at Maxim Integrated Products, overseeing the design and project management of various integrated circuits. Michael holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed between 1996 and 2001.
