Randy Hong

Randy Hong has extensive work experience in information security and network architecture. Randy started their career in 1996 as the Director of Network Operation and Security at Fair Isaac. Randy then joined GXS in 2002 as the Director of Security and Network Architecture, where they worked until 2014. After that, they became the VP, Information Security Officer at Exchange Bank until 2020. Currently, they are the VP of Information Security at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor.

Randy Hong has an extensive education history in the field of physics. Randy obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Laser Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, graduating between the years 1978 and 1982. Randy then pursued further education and completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Notre Dame, studying from 1984 to 1989. After completing their PhD, Randy Hong engaged in Postdoctoral studies in theoretical solid state physics at Purdue University from 1990 to 1991. Following this, they pursued more postdoctoral research in theoretical physics at the University of Toronto, studying between 1992 and 1993.
