Billie S.

Billie S. is an experienced educator and creative professional, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Alpha Public Schools since July 2020, where responsibilities include leading 9th grade English students and managing individual education programs (IEPs). Previous roles include Event Photographer at El Patio, Production Assistant at California Film & TV Collective, and Visual and Digital Arts Specialist at St. Nicks Alliance, demonstrating a diverse skill set in both education and the arts. Billie served as President and Vice President of The Cinemaniacs, managing film production initiatives and coordinating events. Additionally, experiences with City Year included various leadership positions, focusing on student support and community engagement. Billie holds a Master's degree in Special Education from National University and a Bachelor's degree from Marymount Manhattan College in Film, Cinema, and Emerging Media. Currently enrolled at UCLA, Billie continues to develop educational expertise.
