Joe Benavides

Joe Benavides serves as the Controller at Alpha Testing since January 2022, focusing on enhancing budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes to support operational efficiency and company growth. As a volunteer Finance Committee Chair at Agape Memorial United Methodist Church, Joe oversees financial reports and leads efforts for new accounting software implementation. Previous roles include Controller at American Financial & Retirement Services and Accounting Manager at Homeowners of America Insurance Company, where Joe managed financial reporting, developed internal controls, and coordinated audits. With extensive experience in financial analysis and process improvement across several companies, including Kaiser Permanente and Robertson Fleet Service, Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University.
