Mike Marshall CTS CBTE CBNE has over 40 years of experience in the broadcast industry. Mike began their career in 1981 as a Service Manager at Everything Video Inc., a retail video store specializing in consumer and professional equipment. In 1990, Mike acquired the assets of the service department from creditors and opened Video Tech Integration Group, an independent factory authorized consumer video repair shop. In 2016, Mike joined Alpha Video and Audio Inc. as a Senior Broadcast Systems Design Engineer, responsible for the design of broadcast infrastructure and control rooms, primarily for NCAA and professional sports venues. Notable 2021-2022 completed projects include TIAA Bank Stadium - Tessera Upgrade, US Bank Stadium - Tessera Upgrade, Rogers Center - Toronto Blue Jays control room upgrades, Fenway Park - Red Sox control room upgrades, UGA router & SMPTE Camera upgrades, Sporting KC control room upgrades, Chesapeake Energy Arena - OKC Thunder control room upgrades, and Koch Arena - WSU ESPN control rooms.
Mike Marshall's education history includes completing undergraduate studies at Tallahassee Community College from 1979 to 1981 and studying Electrical Engineering at Florida State University from 1981 to 1984. Mike also holds several certifications, including Certified Technical Specialist from InfoComm International obtained in November 2016, Florida Certified Electrical Specialty Contractor from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation obtained in July 2012, Certified Broadcast Networking Engineer (CBNE) from the Society of Broadcast Engineers obtained in August 2021, and Certified Broadcast Television Engineer from the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
