James MacKendree

James MacKendree serves as the Global Head of Business Development at Alpha Wave Global since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles in business development at Schroders from February 2019 to April 2021, and as an independent consultant at RiverPark Capital / The Palisades Group from May 2016 to December 2018. James held the position of Head of Business Development at Crown Sterling LLC until its closure in 2016, and previously served as Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Conatus Capital Management LP until its closure in 2017. Earlier career achievements include serving as Managing Director and Co-Head of Business Development at GLG Partners / Man Investments from July 2006 to February 2013, as well as Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns and Vice President at Merrill Lynch. James holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
