Chief Operating Officer at Alphabest Education

Brian H. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brian began their career as a Kindergarten Teacher at Moore Magnet Elementary School from 2003 to 2006. Brian then worked as a Photographer for The Wolfpacker Magazine from 2006 to 2009, where they photographed NC State football and basketball games. Brian also served as a Teaching Assistant at Digital Media in Landscape in early 2009.

From 2009 to 2011, Brian worked as a Technology Manager at Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools, overseeing the implementation of new technology and managing communication platforms. Brian also worked as a Student Designer and Planner at North Carolina State University, assisting with the revitalization efforts of small towns.

Brian then transitioned into the field of educational technology, joining Kaplan Early Learning Co in 2011 as an Educational Technology specialist. Brian oversaw the installation of interactive technologies and managed professional development programs.

In 2014, Brian took on the role of Enterprise Product Owner at Youth Digital, working on designing new Blended Learning product/curriculum and building online training programs for enterprise-level customers.

Brian later joined Relias Learning as a Client Success Manager & Product Development specialist in 2014, providing leadership, training, and expanding functionality of the Learning Management System (LMS) for multiple clients.

Most recently, Brian has been working at AlphaBEST Education, Inc. since 2015. Brian has held various roles within the company, including Manager of Professional Development & Training, Director of Learning and Instructional Technology, Director of Systems and Internal Operations, Managing Director of Systems and Support Services, and finally, Chief Technology Operations Officer. Currently, Brian serves as the Chief Operating Officer at AlphaBEST Education, Inc.

Brian H. began their education at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. After completing high school, they attended Wake Forest University from 1998 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following this, Brian pursued further education at North Carolina State University from 2006 to 2009. There, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture. Additionally, during their time at Wake Forest University, Brian also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, graduating in 2003.
