Dan Bryan

Dan Bryan has over a decade of experience in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence roles. Dan is currently employed at Alphaen Credit as the Director of Data Engineering and previously worked at Above Lending as Principal Data Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Senior Data Engineer at Civis Analytics and a Business Intelligence Architect II at Braviant Holdings. Dan also founded American History USA, a website built on a Django/PostgreSQL/Heroku platform. Early in their career, they worked at Enova International in various roles including Portfolio Analytics Senior Associate, Portfolio Analytics Associate, Business Intelligence Developer, Strategy and Operations Associate, and Strategy and Operations Analyst. Dan has experience in Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redshift, R, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Dan Bryan received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of Chicago, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and in 2022, they obtained the SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake.
