Stephen Drescher

Stephen Drescher has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Stephen currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology and Large Print Format at AlphaGraphics since April 2021. Prior to this, Stephen worked at the University of Massachusetts Lowell for over three decades. Their roles at the university included Director of Network Engineering and Architecture from March 2011 to December 2021, Director of Network Services from February 2001 to March 2011, and Associate Director of Network Management from June 1989 to February 2001. Throughout their career, they were involved in designing and implementing network architecture, managing day-to-day network operations, and overseeing various aspects of network services such as switches, routers, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, wireless, and network management.

Stephen Drescher holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they earned from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Saint Anselm College, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Stephen holds certifications in Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as well as Extreme Network Administrator (ENA) and Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) from Extreme Networks.
