Pedro Coutino-Soto

Pedro oversees the projects involving new and exciting applications of their liquid crystal films, including e-Tint films.

A native of Mexico, Pedro holds a Ph.D from the Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University (researching soft condensed matter systems) and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Guanajuato . He is still trying to get used to the snow in Ohio, and when he’s not in the lab, he stays indoors, solving other physics problems; currently – the nonlinear behavior of chains.
