Randy Adkins

Knowledge Director at Alphaport, Inc.

Randy Adkins has a long and distinguished career in the military and government consulting. From 1985 to 1992, they worked as a C-141 and Presidential Fleet System Control Officer at the Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), WPAFB, Ohio. During this time, they led the development of the first Air Force Weapon System Master Plan and orchestrated the completion of the C-141 Service Life Extension Plan. From 1992 to 1999, they served as the Director of the Air Force Center of Excellence for Knowledge Management. During this time, they led the acquisition, fielding, operations and sustainment of the Air Force Knowledge Now (AFKN) program, the largest implementation of knowledge management in the federal government. From 1999 to 2009, they worked at Alphaport, Inc. as the Knowledge Director. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Partner at FACTeam, providing business consulting for government organizations implementing Performance Based Logistics, Learning and Knowledge Management. In 2013, they retired.

Randy Adkins completed their MBA in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Dayton in 1990. Randy earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Texas Tech University in 1976. Randy also attended Bryan Adams Hiigh School.
