Ville Kapanen

Ville Kapanen is a seasoned professional in cloud security engineering, currently serving as Lead Cloud Security Engineer at AlphaSense since October 2022, previously holding roles as Senior and Cloud Security Engineer. Prior to AlphaSense, Ville was a Security Consultant at WithSecure from March to September 2022 and at F-Secure Corporation from September 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included conducting cloud security reviews across various platforms and delivering training. Ville began the career as a Junior Security Consultant and has experience in incident response, web application security assessments, and project leadership. An academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer, Communication and Information Sciences from Aalto University, complemented by an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Aalto University. Early experience includes roles at Nokia, Accountor Finago Oy, Tieto, and contributions to a digital strategy project for Orion.
