Sushmita Karmakar

Sushmita Karmakar is an experienced information security professional with a strong background in cloud security. Currently serving as the Lead Information Security Engineer - Cloud at Mastercard since June 2022, Sushmita has previously held the position of Senior Information Security Engineer, Cloud within the same company. Prior to that, Sushmita was employed at KPMG India from July 2019 to August 2021, where roles included Associate Consultant and Analyst. Sushmita holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Munster Technological University, completed in August 2022, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from New Horizon Institute of Technology and Management, earned in 2019.
