Ben Nicholls

Dr Ben Nicholls has a diverse work experience background. Dr Ben started their career at the University of Kent, where they worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator from October 2014 to January 2019. During this time, they also served as a Research Assistant from February 2015 to July 2015.

In 2019, Dr Nicholls joined AlphaStream.io as a Lead Data Scientist, a role they held until November 2020. Dr Ben then progressed to become the Head of Data Science until January 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Data at AlphaStream.io since January 2022.

Dr. Ben Nicholls has a substantial education history that spans over several years. Dr Ben began their studies in 2009 at the University of Kent, where they completed a Foundation Year. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Multimedia Technology and Design, which they successfully obtained in 2013. Dr. Nicholls then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Advanced Computer Science from the same university, which they completed in 2014. Finally, they embarked on their highest level of education, attaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Software and Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent in 2019.
