Chirag G. Badlani

Chirag Badlani currently serves as the Executive Director of Alphawood Foundation, a role held since November 2021, where the foundation focuses on promoting equity, justice, and humanity through grant-making to various organizations. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Partner at Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym Ltd. from April 2012 to November 2021, where Chirag represented clients in immigration, civil rights, and employment cases. Additional legal experience encompasses positions as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and roles at the Vera Institute of Justice and NYU Law School. Chirag holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA in History from Yale University.
