Matthew Foster

Matthew Foster serves as the Director of Housing & Residential Experience at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since August 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing residential operations, education, identification card services, and summer conferences. Matthew provides vision and strategic direction for enhancing the residential student experience while managing capital investments in facilities. Previous roles at Worcester Polytechnic Institute include Associate Director and Assistant Director of Residential Education, with a focus on supervising live-in staff, supporting community development and training. Matthew began career in housing at SUNY Fredonia as Residence Hall Director and Graduate Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Student Personnel Administration from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
