Amanda Nurse

Amanda Nurse is an accomplished Editorial and Operations Coordinator at Alphy since February 2021, where contributions include creating original news content, formulating app style, and conducting interviews for content inclusion. Prior experience includes serving as an Editorial Intern, where Amanda produced content focused on women's advancement, and a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University for Women in Justice courses. Amanda held leadership roles as Editor In Chief for Klio Online Creative Arts Journal and as a Fiction, Nonfiction, and Copyediting Staff Member at Kalliope Literary Magazine. Additional internships with The Strålande and Hemingway Letters Project further highlight a strong background in editorial work, content creation, and collaboration. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Penn State University.
