Robert Gusick

Robert Gusick has worked as Chief Information Officer at Alpine Associates since January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as Chief Information Officer at Fir Tree Partners from October 2011 to April 2018. Robert also held the position of Managing Director at Gravitas from July 2009 to October 2011 and CTO at Perry Capital from March 2008 to January 2009. Before that, they served as Director of Information Technology at Soros Fund Management, LLC from January 2003 to March 2008. Robert also had a long tenure at Morgan Stanley, where they worked as an Executive Director from April 1990 to November 2002. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert from July 1985 to March 1990. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 1982 to 1984. Robert is also a member of the New York CTO Club since March 2006.

Robert Gusick received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, where they attended from 1981 to 1985. Robert later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance at NYU Stern School of Business from 1989 to 1990. Prior to their college education, they attended Edgemont High School from 1977 to 1981.
