Doug Merrell

Doug Merrell serves as the Executive Vice President of IT at Alpine Bank of Colorado since November 2014, leveraging extensive experience in technology leadership. Previously, between March 1997 and October 2014, Doug was the Chief Information Officer at First National Bank of the Rockies / Bank of the San Juans, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and customer support while implementing systems that facilitated expansion from two to ten locations. Earlier roles involved significant contributions as a Senior Network Technician at Grand Valley Information Systems and a Network Engineer at ISAC Systems, as well as foundational work in communications security with the United States Air Force. Doug's academic foundation comes from Colorado Technical University where education occurred from 1992 to 1995.
