Jacob Duvenage

Jacob Duvenage has a diverse work experience in the medical and engineering fields. Jacob started their career as a Delivery Systems Engineer at Varian Medical Systems, where they maintained, serviced, and installed linear accelerators for radiation oncology. During this role, Jacob demonstrated proficiency in understanding and working with complex integrated systems while upholding regulatory requirements. Jacob then worked as a Biomechanics of Physical Rehabilitation Demonstrator at UNSW, where they contributed to the field of physical rehabilitation. In 2021, Jacob transitioned into the medical writing field and worked as a Medical Writer Contractor for an undisclosed company. Jacob later joined Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. as a Medical Writer, contributing to their medical writing projects. Additionally, they worked as a Medical Writer at OM Pharma and Pathalys Pharma Inc., gaining experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to their current roles, Jacob also worked as a Market Research Consultant at Melio Peptide Systems.

Jacob Duvenage's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled at UNSW to pursue a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours. Jacob completed their undergraduate studies in 2019.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Jacob continued their education at UNSW, this time focusing on biomedical engineering. From 2014 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Biomedical Engineering degree.

In 2020, Jacob decided to further their education by joining the University of Sydney. Jacob enrolled in the Master of Science in Medicine program, specializing in Pharmaceutics and Medical Device Development. Jacob completed this degree in 2021.
