Steve Briscoe

Steve is a medical writer at Verve Therapeutics. Prior to joining Verve, he was a scientific writer at Acceleron Pharma, where he produced preclinical publications related to cardiovascular disease and early drug development and supported clinical publications at Merck after the Acceleron acquisition. Steve received a Ph.D. in developmental biology at the University of Chicago, received a B.S. in neuroscience at the University of Michigan and has studied brain development and evolution in vertebrates including chickens, alligators, and man. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany.
