Zhoufeng Ying

Zhoufeng Ying is a Senior Silicon Photonics Design Engineer at Alpine Optoelectronics, Inc., with experience in developing next-generation optical transceiver modules for 5G applications since May 2020. Prior to this role, Zhoufeng served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on high-speed nanophotonic devices and advanced integrated computing circuits from July 2016 to May 2020. Zhoufeng also conducted research at Nanjing University as a Graduate Researcher, designing ultracompact polarization-selective devices and a portable lab-on-a-disk platform. Earlier experience includes founding Cohex studio, where Zhoufeng developed IoT products and collaborated with companies to create various monitored solutions. Zhoufeng holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's in Optical Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Optoelectrical Information Engineering, both from Nanjing University.
