Navin Parasram

Navin Parasram is an experienced professional in trading and finance, currently serving as the Head of Trading and Executive Board Member at Alpiq since April 2020. Prior roles include significant positions at ENGIE, where responsibilities spanned overseeing gas, oil, and FX trading, as well as leading gas trading and origination efforts. Prior to ENGIE, Navin worked as a Managing Director at Citi, building a global cross-commodity team, and held roles at EDF Trading as a quantitative trader and analyst. Additional experience includes consultancy, a postdoctoral research associate position at Imperial College London, and summer internships at Rolls-Royce and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Turbulent Two-Phase Flow from Imperial College London and a Master of Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
