Silvio Sager

Silvio Sager, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Silvio currently holds the role of Head Accounting at Alpiq, a position they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Strategic CFO-Initiatives at Alpiq from October 2022 to May 2023. From October 2019 to September 2022, they held the position of Head of Strategic Financial Initiatives at Alpiq. Before joining Alpiq, Silvio worked as a Finance Business Partner at the company from March 2018 to July 2022. Silvio began their career at Alpiq as a Senior Group Controller from July 2015 to March 2018.

Before joining Alpiq, Silvio gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young, where they held the role of Senior Consultant from July 2012 to June 2015. Silvio also worked as an Intern at Ernst & Young from October 2008 to March 2009.

Silvio Sager, CFA, has a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St.Gallen, which they obtained between 2009 and 2011. Silvio also holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. In 2011, they participated in an exchange semester in Finance at the University of Cape Town. Silvio Sager earned their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2019.
