Martin Laur

Martin Laur serves as the Team Lead for the Operational Excellence Program at ALPLA Group since January 2018, overseeing a dynamic team focused on enhancing operational excellence across plants globally through a lean program. With over six years in this capacity, Martin has successfully completed projects in 18 countries and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, demonstrating expertise in lean management, business development, and innovation. Prior experience includes roles such as Operational Excellence Manager at Alpla, conducting a feasibility study for additive manufacturing during a master thesis at KraussMaffei, and a bachelor thesis at Fraunhofer IPA, alongside internships at MTU and KNOLL Maschinenbau GmbH. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Science in Innovation Creation and Entrepreneurship from Groupe ESC Troyes and a Master of Engineering in Technology Management from Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field. Martin fulfilled mandatory military service as a paratrooper with the Bundeswehr.
