Nicolas Simon currently holds the position of Leitung Manufacturing Engineering & Task Force Central Eastern Europe at ALPLA Group, where responsibilities include leading manufacturing experts and regional task forces across 24 plants, overseeing process and production engineering, R&D, budgeting, training, and product development, while also focusing on cost savings and troubleshooting. Previous roles at ALPLA include Operation Management for Injection Moulding and Manager of Operations Improvement across numerous Central Eastern European plants. At Hamburger Containerboard - Prinzhorn Group, Nicolas served as Deputy Division Head of Business Process Management & Governance, leading process experts across multiple countries and implementing continuous improvement methodologies. With prior experience as Deputy Head of Manufacturing at SEMPERIT AG, Nicolas has developed a solid background in operational excellence, engineering, and project management, supported by an array of certifications in project and process management, including a Master of Science in Industrial Management and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Industrial Engineering.
