Scott MacKinnon has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership and operations roles. Scott started their career at IBM Canada as a Systems Engineer, specializing in mainframe storage systems. Scott then joined Enhance Systems as a Sales Representative, leveraging their knowledge of IBM storage systems. After that, they worked at Randstad Canada in multiple roles, including Managing Director of GMS Canada, where they developed a new business unit focused on vendor management solutions and delivered a profit in the first year of operations. Scott also served as Director of Resource Management, where they improved productivity by over 100% in 3 months and achieved year-over-year revenue growth of over 50%. Later on, they joined Lannick Group of Companies as Director of Client Services, leading sales teams and doubling both revenue and gross margin over 5 years. Scott then returned to Randstad Canada as Vice President, Technologies and Engineering, Western Canada, where they managed 7 sales and recruitment teams and $140M in annual revenue targets. Currently, they are the Vice President of Operations at Alquemy Search & Consulting, focusing on expanding the team and ensuring the success of customers, candidates, and co-workers.
Scott MacKinnon attended the University of Waterloo from 1984 to 1989, where they pursued an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in the Applied Studies Co-op program.
