Alsana
Nasim Khorasani is a dedicated biomedical laboratory technician currently working at UCI Samueli School of Engineering, where responsibilities include coordinating experiments and maintaining quality standards for device performance. Previous experience includes roles as a graduate research assistant, where optimization of cell culture procedures and protein analysis was conducted, and a clinical development intern at Applied Medical, leading projects by analyzing extensive data for electrosurgical devices. In earlier positions at UC Santa Barbara, Khorasani contributed to research on K. aerogenes and neural mapping in fruit flies, while also gaining hands-on experience as a medical assistant and intern at LA BioMed, focusing on cardiology. Khorasani holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Santa Barbara and is pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at UC Irvine.
