Shreyas Poyrekar

Shreyas Poyrekar is a Senior Firmware Engineer at ALSO since June 2025, previously serving as an Embedded Software Engineer at SLB from May 2021 to May 2025. Earlier, Shreyas held a temporary research position at the University of Houston, where responsibilities included designing an embedded system for a Wetland Soil Strength Tester, and interfacing various sensors for data collection. As an Instructional Assistant at the University of Houston College of Technology, Shreyas developed and implemented lab experiments focused on microprocessors and embedded systems. Shreyas started the career as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Hardcarb Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where firmware for multiple microcontrollers was developed. Shreyas holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer & Embedded Systems from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
