Brechje Merckx

Brechje Merckx is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diversity and inclusion, talent development, and change management. Currently serving as the Global Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Alstom since January 2023, Brechje is responsible for advancing diversity strategies, designing talent development programs, and monitoring diversity demographics. Prior to this role, Brechje spent over a decade at The Dow Chemical Company, where positions included Senior Learning and Development Specialist and DSS Implementation Specialist, focusing on employer reputation, analytics, and talent management solutions. Brechje’s career also includes leadership roles in hospitality and training, with a foundation in customer service and team development. Brechje holds education from Universiteit Gent and Universiteit Maastricht.
