Francesco Guarino is a seasoned professional in the railway industry with extensive experience in safety management and assurance. Currently serving as Railway Safety Partner for the AMECA region at Alstom since August 2017, Francesco oversees metro operations while ensuring compliance with contractual performance requirements during the warranty phase. Francesco has held various roles, including Industry Expert at Arthur D. Little for studies on freight corridors and Hyperloop systems in the GCC region, as well as Senior RAMS Engineer at Parsons Corporation for the Doha Metro Project. Other notable positions include Safety and Security Certification Manager at Ansaldo Honolulu JV for the first driverless mass transit system in the U.S. and Project RAMS Manager at Ansaldo STS, contributing to multiple driverless metro projects across Italy and Saudi Arabia. Francesco holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Managerial Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at HEC Paris.
