Jaap de Keijzer

Jaap de Keijzer is a seasoned technical project manager with extensive experience in the railway and transportation sectors. Currently serving at Alstom since March 2024, Jaap previously held managerial and consultancy positions at Ricardo plc, where roles included team manager and senior project manager. Notable experiences also include extern project manager for ERTMS implementation at Qbuzz b.v., and various technical and managerial roles at Metro en Tram in Amsterdam, including lead auditor and implementation manager for signaling systems. Jaap's background also encompasses quality management at HTM Personenvervoer N.V., project management at Lloyd's Register Rail Europe, technical consultancy at RET and NedTrain Consulting, and earlier roles in technical liaison and after-sales engineering with Bridgestone Europe and Nissan Europe NV. Jaap holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on vehicle dynamics from Delft University of Technology.
