Shyamal Bhattacharya

Shyamal Bhattacharya is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and business development in the transportation sector. Currently serving as Project & Tender Director at Alstom since November 2005, Shyamal has held multiple key positions including Product Development Director and Project Manager, with notable achievements such as successfully delivering the first train for the Kochi Metro rolling stock project in record time. Prior to Alstom, Shyamal worked at Bombardier Transportation from September 1996 to October 2005 as Assistant Manager, focusing on proposals, business development, and customer support. Shyamal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Sardar Patel University, completed in 1996.
