Varun Sharma

Varun Sharma has extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Materials Planning Manager and Supplier Development Leader at Alstom since June 2019, Varun is responsible for supplier capacity assessment and capability audits. Previously, Varun worked at Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd. from October 2010 to June 2019 in SCM/PPC procurement, focusing on local parts procurement, inventory management, and system development. Varun's career in the field began at Maruti Suzuki India Pvt. Ltd. as a Diploma Trainee from October 2007 to October 2010, where responsibilities included parts procurement and inventory management. Varun holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Pt J R Govt College and St. Paul's School and is pursuing a PGDM in Business Administration and Management and Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at MIT Academy of Engineering in Pune.
