Nehal Madhani has held a variety of roles in the legal and technology industries. In 2009, they began their career as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. In 2006, they co-founded Bluefreak.com, an online marketplace for higher education students. Additionally, they served as Director of Development at Dining for Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raised funds for local charities. In 2012, they became a Fellow at the Startup Leadership Program, a global training program and network for founders and innovators. In 2016, they were selected as a Fellow at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Co-chair of the Trademark Administrators Committee at the International Trademark Association (INTA). Nehal is also the Founder & CEO of Alt Legal - IP Management Software, a distinctively different kind of IP docketing solution.
Nehal Madhani has a diverse educational background. They received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a Certificate in Business & Public Policy from The Wharton School, and a B.A. in Biology and Economics from Northwestern University. They also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
