Brandon Gonzalez

Brandon Gonzalez is a Senior Planning Associate at ALTA PLANNING & DESIGN, INC. Brandon previously worked as a Senior Planner - Project Manager at LDC, Inc. from March 2016 to October 2018.

Brandon is responsible for land development project management, navigating complex jurisdictional development codes, environmental regulations, physical & topographic constraints, and political processes for single-family, townhome, and multifamily projects. Brandon is fully responsible for project financials, regulatory compliance, and providing exemplary customer service.

Brandon coordinates teams of planners, engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, geotechnical engineers, and critical areas consultants for entitlement acquisition, State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) compliance, site design, issue mitigation, preliminary and final engineering, and construction. Brandon also partners with external agencies, elected officials, jurisdictions, purveyors, utility providers, and neighbors to represent client interests and facilitate project objectives.

Brandon was the project manager for Planning department’s expanding role in municipal projects, including the development of small area and neighborhood plans, development code writing, and amendments to comprehensive plans. Brandon also created the Buildable Lands Guidance for the Washington State Department of Commerce under the Washington State Growth Management Act’s comprehensive planning Review & Evaluation program.

Brandon Gonzalez has a B.A. in Political Science from Texas Tech University and an MCRP in Masters in City and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Arlington. Brandon also has a certification from the American Planning Association in American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
