Heather Owen Nigl

Heather Owen Nigl started at Alta Resources in 1998. After two years as a Corporate Business Analyst/Accountant, Heather took on the role of Senior Corporate Financial Analyst, a position she held for nearly 14 years. During that time, she managed corporate compliance; financial audits, lending agreements, and reports; client- and vendor-contract negotiations and reviews; and new-business pricing.

In 2014, Heather became Corporate Controller, giving her account of the facilities and annual financial audit, among others. While in that role, she developed several process improvements focused on improving service levels for customers and employees. In 2015, Heather advanced to Vice President of Finance where she focused on maximizing efficiency and profitability across the entire organization. Heather became Chief Financial Officer two years later.

In 2018, Heather earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on International Business, from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
