Abdi Shayesteh

Abdi Shayesteh is the CEO and Founder of AltaClaro, a legal technology company that provides software solutions to streamline the contract lifecycle. Prior to AltaClaro, Shayesteh worked as Deputy General Counsel for MUFG in the Americas where they provided strategic advice to senior management on US legal and regulatory matters impacting US and global operations. Shayesteh has also worked as a Sr. Associate Attorney for King & Spalding LLP, where they focused on international banking and finance, Middle East investments, Islamic finance, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and property financing.

Abdi Shayesteh attended UC San Diego where they obtained their B.A. in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies. Abdi then went on to Santa Clara University School of Law to obtain their J.D. in Corporate and Financial Law. In addition, they have two certifications from AltaClaro: Certificate of Completion in Fundamentals of Corporate Transactions (Bootcamp) and Certificate of Completion in Fundamentals of M&A Transactions (Bootcamp).
