Peter Mitton

Peter Mitton has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Peter started their career as an Engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in 1994, where they worked on various contract areas for the development of submarines. Peter then worked as an Application Engineer at Consulting For Architects from 1999 to 2001 and as an Application Engineer/Account Manager at Hope Air Systems from 2002 to 2006.

In 2006, Peter started their own company called Yellow Monkey Software / YM Consulting, where they served as the Owner until 2017. In 2014, they also founded and served as the Director of Greenseed Angels, a group dedicated to investing in clean technology startups.

Peter joined Altaeros in 2014, where they held multiple roles. Peter initially worked as a Software and Telecom Product Manager, responsible for leading the development of core telecommunication technologies and software systems. This included leading a team and developing simulation and analysis techniques. In 2019, they became the Director of Customer Solutions at Altaeros.
