James McCourt

James McCourt, PMP has over 20 years of diverse work experience. James is currently serving as the VP of Delivery and Operations at altafiber. Prior to this, they worked at CBTS for 17 years, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Implementation and Operations, PMO Director, Program Manager, Solutions Architect, and Technical Sales Engineer. During their time at CBTS, James led the Project Management Organization, managed customer accounts, and played a key role in the migration of a healthcare provider's data center. Before joining CBTS, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at General Electric Co., overseeing IT infrastructure projects globally. James also has experience in community outreach, having served as the Director of Community Outreach for the Project Management Institute - Southwest OH Chapter. James started their career as a Network Administrator at RPC Mechanical Inc. and later worked as a Senior Server Engineer at Siemens Business Services.

James McCourt, PMP, completed their education in Computer Network Engineering at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 1998 to 2000. James also holds additional certifications including PMP from the Project Management Institute, ITIL v3, VTSP from VMware, and ITIL v2. The years of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
