Claudia Vargas Villanueva

Claudia Vargas Villanueva has extensive work experience in the legal field. Claudia began their career as a Trainee Lawyer at Baker & McKenzie from 2010 to 2011. Claudia then worked as a Lawyer at Hogan Lovells from 2011 to 2012. Claudia joined Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira as an Associate Lawyer from 2012 to 2016. During their time at Cuatrecasas, they gained experience in Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies.

In 2016, Vargas Villanueva transitioned to the role of Professor, teaching LL.M. courses at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Claudia specialized in Intellectual Property Law and Legal programs for Admission to the Bar and IPMT.

In 2016, they also joined ALTAFONTE as Head of Legal & Business Affairs. Claudia'srole expanded in 2019 when they became the Head of Legal & Data Protection. Claudia has been instrumental in managing legal and data protection matters for the company.

Additionally, they specialized in Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies, earning an LL.M. from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in the academic year 2009-2010.

Prior to their international studies, Claudia completed their undergraduate degree in Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú between 2002 and 2005. This provided a foundation for their legal knowledge and skills.
