Nadia Fernandez

Nadia Fernandez has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Nadia is currently working at AltaGas Ltd. as a Cost Accounting Team Lead, where they started in October 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Accounts Payable Manager at AltaGas Ltd. from January 2021 to October 2021. Before joining AltaGas Ltd., Nadia worked at Petrogas Energy Corp. from December 2017 to September 2018, where they initially served as an Accounts Payable Specialist and later as a Manager, Accounts Payable and Capital Accountant. Nadia also gained work experience at Bridgewater Bank as an Accounting Technician on a contract basis in 2017, focusing on reconciliation, portfolio management, and project lead tasks. Nadia's earlier work experience includes roles at Mars as a Finance Associate from April 2014 to May 2016, Silver Chef Ltd as a Temporary Associate from August 2013 to March 2014, International Fitness Holdings Inc. as a Manager, Account Services from July 2006 to October 2012, and ATB Financial as a Personal Banking Specialist from June 2003 to June 2006.

Nadia Fernandez studied at St. Francis High School from 1999 to 2002. Nadia then attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Business Administration Diploma in Business Management. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2008. Finally, they became a student member of the CPA Australia Program until 2016.
