Tom Burgum

Tom Burgum has extensive work experience in the field of total rewards and HR operations. Tom currently holds the position of Head of Total Rewards & HR Operations at AltaGas Ltd. and previously served as the Head of Total Rewards at the same company. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Total Rewards at Ferguson Enterprises. Tom also held the role of Vice President of Compensation & Benefits at Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Tom has been actively involved in the Employee Benefits Council at The Conference Board, serving in roles in both 2010-2013 and 2015-2016. Tom has also worked as the Director of Global Total Rewards at AES and as the Vice President of Benefits at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Tom began their career as a Benefit Payment & Tax Processing Coordinator at Crestar Bank (now Truist).

Tom Burgum has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Richmond. Tom also holds certifications as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
