Bill Shannon has worked in the finance industry for several years. Bill began their career at BMO Private Bank in 2010 as a Managing Director, where they held a leadership position until 2016. After that, they joined HSBC Private Banking as a Market Head and stayed with the company until 2019. Currently, they are the Director of Strategic Growth at Altair Advisers, an independent wealth advisory firm.
Bill Shannon, CIMA®, CPWA®, holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance & International Business from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Bill also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Bill has completed Executive Education programs at The University of Texas at Austin and The Wharton School. Bill has also participated in a Semester Program in International Business through DIS - Study Abroad. Bill Shannon has further acquired certifications as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) from the Investments & Wealth Institute.
