Lauren Tackbary

Lauren Tackbary is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in strategic growth and communications. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Growth & Marketing at Sierra Club since June 2017, Lauren develops and executes initiatives to enhance public awareness and engagement while driving revenue for legacy programs. Previous roles at Sierra Club include Director of Brand and Strategic Communications and Associate Director of Brand Marketing, where Lauren focused on brand strategy and external growth. Prior to Sierra Club, Lauren held positions at Odopod as Marketing & Business Development Manager, EVB as Business Development Manager, and co-owned Ancestry Quarterly L.L.C. as Sales & Marketing Director. Lauren also has experience in graphic design and retail management, having worked as a Marketing Associate at Shiftgig and Store Manager at American Apparel. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from DePaul University.
