Dr. Bassayya Kalal

Dr. Bassayya Kalal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software development, particularly in the field of CAE-related software. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Development at Altair since September 2011, Dr. Kalal has previously held the position of Director of Software Development, focusing on finite element methodologies for the Inspire product line. Prior roles include Software Manager at Altair Engineering Inc. and Lecturer at Rural Engineering College in India. Dr. Kalal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from PDA College of Engineering, a Master of Engineering in Machine Design from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Finite Element Development from the Indian Institute of Science.
