Paul Eder

Paul Eder has extensive experience in software development, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Software Development at Altair since September 2002. In this role, Paul manages a diverse team focused on HyperWorks Model Build tools, which include CAD interfaces, geometry, meshing, connectors, and assembly technologies. Previous positions at Altair include Senior Director of HyperWorks Geometry and Meshing, where Paul oversaw development teams for shell meshing and CAD interface technologies, as well as multiple roles within the SWAT team, emphasizing quick-response solutions for critical projects. Paul Eder holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from The Ohio State University. Additionally, Paul was a member of The Ohio State University Men's Glee Club from September 1996 to June 1997.
